ramus is made by one person. if something's broken, confusing or missing, get in touch and i'll take a look.

• email admin@blueshelter.net. works for anything, no account needed.
• the issue tracker on github, for bugs and feature requests. you can check whether someone's already reported the same thing. it needs a free github account.
• security problems: please don't open a public issue. report them privately through github security advisories.

reporting a bug

ramus collects nothing, so all i know about a bug is what you send me. these help:

• your device and its system version, e.g. iPhone 16 on iOS 26.
• what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
• a screenshot or screen recording, if it's something you can see.
• your plex media server version, if it's about playback or syncing.

before you write

• ramus plays music from your own plex media server. it has no music and no accounts of its own; you sign in with your plex account.
• if ramus can't reach your server away from home, check that remote access is turned on in your server's settings.
• how the features work (search operators, filters, crates, custom genre trees) is in the readme.
• ramus isn't made by plex. problems with your plex account or the server itself are best taken to plex support.
